Mark Workshop South

The Mark Workshop South is a department within the Ground Workshop Unit (MvE) that belongs to the Army Staff. MvE performs maintenance on the Armed Forces' ground/air base materials and delivers technical system support. The Ground Workshop Unit delivers services according to customer requirements.

You will belong to the Mark Workshop South, which is a department with 180 employees, operating in Revingehed, Ronneby, Karlskrona, and Gotland.

Main Responsibilities

As a mechanic, you will primarily work with maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of either light or heavy wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles, and their systems. The focus will depend on your experience and interests as an applicant.

The work involves both preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as modification and reconstruction based on established guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Education in vehicle technology, or other education/competence acquired through work experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• Driver's license B, preferably higher.

Other

Permanent employment, full-time/daytime, starting with a 6-month probationary period. Varied working hours may occur, and we apply flexible working agreements. Work location: Revingehed. Start date: as soon as possible after agreement. The job also requires travel and service, both domestically and internationally.

The position is a civilian position. Work with thermosetting plastics may occur in the workshop.
